Nonna’s Grocer is inspired by family and run by family.
Madeleine Hoy (on left) founded Nonna’s Grocer amidst an ongoing battle with a chronic illness. She designed her way out of a 9-5 job as an event designer, and into a thriving design brand, where she can explore beauty and craftsmanship through object design at her own damn tempo.
Having worked within a start-up environment prior to event design, she is able to amalgamate her skills of developing and designing brands worthy of scaling internationally.
Isabel Hoy, her sister, jumped on board shortly after as co-owner, bringing with her experience in project management, communications, research and social entrepreneurship.
Both sisters are passionate about good food, creativity and community.
